Centenary celebrations podcast series
Sharing the story of the Gillies Highway based in Far North Queensland, Australia. Celebrating 100 years since it opened in 1926, working with the historical society and releasing them during the centenary event to be held in Yungaburra, 2026.
“A Bend Too Many” (working title) is a series of stories, gathered and recorded then uploaded to various online podcast platforms and promoted through the historical societies and general public. Working with the Eacham Historical Society and their “Gillies Highway Celebrations” committee, we will gather stories and craft them into a special commemorative collection. ABTM will be a collection of stories both historical and contemporary, reminiscing on by gone eras and celebrating its important role for people today.
